Privacy Policy: what Hydriya collects, why, and what happens to it
The short version: this website uses Google Analytics to measure visits, runs no advertising, and the quote form does not save anything on our server. It opens WhatsApp with your message ready to send. The detail is below. Last updated 4 November 2026.
In short
- We collect what you choose to send us (name, mobile number, area, what you notice about your water, photos) and what we record at a visit (readings, photos of plumbing and units, your address).
- We use it to reply, quote, visit, install, service, invoice and keep our legal records. We do not sell it and we do not run advertising on this site.
- The quote form hands your message to WhatsApp. It is not stored on this website.
- This site uses Google Analytics 4 to count visits and button clicks. It runs no advertising, and fonts and videos load from our own server.

How the quote form works
When you press Get a free quote, your browser opens WhatsApp in a new tab with a message built from what you typed: name, mobile number, area and what you notice. You can edit or delete anything before you press send. Nothing is posted to our website’s server, so there is no form database on this site for anyone to breach.
Once you send the message, WhatsApp (operated by Meta) carries it under its own terms and privacy policy, and we receive it on our WhatsApp number.
Cookies and tracking
We use Google Analytics 4, provided by Google, to see which pages are read and which buttons (WhatsApp, call, get a quote) are used. It uses cookies and similar technologies to tell visits apart. When you use the quote form, Google receives only the problem you pick and the area you type, never your name or mobile number. We have not enabled Google’s advertising features and we use no advertising or social-media tracking cookies. Our fonts, images and videos are hosted on our own server. You can block or delete analytics cookies in your browser settings, or use Google’s Analytics opt-out browser add-on. If we change what we track, we will update this page.
Who else sees your data
- WhatsApp (Meta), when you contact us through it.
- Our technicians, for your job only.
- Our web host, which stores the site’s files and technical logs.
- Google, through Google Analytics, as described above.
- Accountants and payment providers, to the extent needed to invoice and get paid: {{LIST YOUR ACCOUNTANT / PAYMENT PROVIDERS, OR DELETE THIS LINE}}.
- Authorities, where the law requires it.
- Your landlord or building management, only if you ask us to send them your readings or a report.
Some of these services, WhatsApp and Google Analytics in particular, process data outside the UAE. Where data leaves the UAE we rely on the conditions the PDPL allows, including your consent where it applies.
Photos and readings from your home
We photograph tanks, pipework, sink cabinets and the unit we fit, because they are the evidence of what was there before and what we installed. We avoid photographing people and personal belongings. If you would rather we did not take photos at all, say so before we start and we will write the details down instead.
Your water readings belong in your file. If you rent, we share them with your landlord or property manager only when you ask us to.
Children
Our website and services are for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18.
Your rights
The PDPL gives you rights over your personal data. You can ask us to:
- Tell you what we hold about you and give you a copy.
- Correct data that is wrong.
- Delete data we no longer need.
- Restrict or stop certain uses.
- Send your data to you in a usable format.
- Withdraw consent you gave us.
- Stop marketing messages. We do not send marketing unless you ask for it.
How to use them
Email {{EMAIL}} from the address or number we hold, and tell us what you want. We may ask you to confirm who you are before we act. We aim to answer within {{RESPONSE TIME, E.G. 30 DAYS}}. Some procedural details of the PDPL depend on executive regulations, so we apply the law as it develops and will update this page when it does.

Security and changes to this policy
This website does not take payments or card details. We limit access to job records to the people who need them, and we do not keep personal data longer than the table above says. If we change this policy in a way that matters to you, we will change the date at the top and describe what changed.
